FRENCH FOR EXAM AND PROFESSIONAL PURPOSES
French General Course
We offer a wide range of French language courses, whether you need to learn French for private or for professional reasons.
There is a variety in intensity and length of the courses, and they all have in common the aim at autonomy and communication. Classes are in small groups (10 people maximum) during the whole year with a focus on oral communication.
For all our French courses in Aix-en-Provence the minimum age is 18 years, except for the closed groups where we can accept younger students.
For all our French courses on specific objectives we ask the participants to fill in a questionnaire on beforehand in order to prepare the course according to your needs and goals. This way you’ll get the best of your French courses in France.

Executive French (FDA)
- Becoming independent in a French professional context
- Improving and developing the oral and written communication
- Strengthening the linguistic tools (vocabulary, grammar) in a professional context
- Acquiring the essential skills of the business world to be able to develop in a company
- Develop the ability to adapt to « cross-cultural » and different French speaking corporate cultures
- Tailored teaching ; emphasize on the oral and written practice in a professional context
- Rigorous linguistic progression that takes into account the level and needs of the group
- Learning and practicing linguistic tools that are used in the French corporate world
- Simulation of authentic professional conversation situations
- Practice training of presentations, negotiations, formal and informal exchanges and all types of business related writing
- Autonomous and individual work every day after class
- Examples of themes: introduction of the company and its organisation, its products and services ; simulation of recruitments, economy and finance, marketing, writing of memos, rapports and note taking, related to the French culture and the business world
- From Monday to Friday: 09:00 – 10:30 et 11:00 – 12.30 and 14:00 – 15:30
- The schedule is subject to change in case of public holiday during the week

- If less than 3 participants: course will be converted into a FGCP10 course without charge

- A preparatory file and a test are required

French for Teachers of French
This linguistic, methodological and socio-cultural internship is intended for foreign teachers of French as a Foreign Language living outside France or for students in this field at the end of their training course
- Knowledge and learning of French in a teaching purpose
- (Re)discovering the socio-cultural realities of today’s France and its historical, literary and artistic heritage
- Enrich its classroom practices in terms of FLE didactics
- Discover new teaching tools and case studies
- Discussing classroom practices (difficulties, solutions found) and observing classes in situ
- Workshops on French civilization (the great events of the 21st century and its main principles)
- Pedagogical workshops aimed at enriching classroom practices and exchange of experience

2 week course

Exam Preparation (PEXAM)
This option is designed for students in the group course General French (FG) or Long Term (FL) and wish to prepare for the DELF (A2 to B2) and/or TCF exams. This course is made up of two parts: the course of your choice (FG or FL) and private lessons that prepares to the format and to the specificities of the exam targeted.
- After analyzing the students’ needs in terms of linguistics and methodology, an adapted program is created with the teacher
- Mastering the targeted exam modalities (format, assessed skills, length)
- Acquiring strategies and methodologies to be prepared for the chosen exam

- Preparation to the different skills assessed during the exam: written and oral comprehension and production; as well as the French language structure for the TCF exam
- Autonomous work necessary to prepare the exam, is indicated by the teacher, depending on the exam requirements
- Simulations of exams
- Training and learning of various strategies adapted to the targeted exam
- The enrolment to this course does not replace the enrolment to the exam

DALF Exam Preparation (PEDALF)
This individual course is designed for anyone who wish to pass the DALF C1 or C2 exam. This course prepares to the format and to the specificities of the DALF exam with additional individual work. If you wish to improve your language level as well, it is possible to combine this course with a General French (FG) or Long Term (FL) course.
- After analyzing the students’ needs in terms of linguistics and methodology, an adapted program is created with the teacher
- Knowing the DALF exam modalities, C1 or C2 level (format, assessed skills, length)
- Acquiring strategies and methodologies to be efficiently prepared to the C1 or C2 DALF
- Preparation to the requirements of the 4 skills assessed by the DALF C1 and DALF C2 exams: written and oral comprehension and production
- Practice exams and learning of various strategies adapted to the targeted exam
- Simulations of exams
- Updating your knowledge of other skills also assessed by the DALF C1 and DALF C2 : French culture and written/oral methodology
- The enrolment to this course does not replace the enrolment to the exam
