French Courses for exams

We offer a wide range of French language courses, whether you need to learn French for private or for professional reasons.

There is a variety in intensity and length of the courses, and they all have in common the aim at autonomy and communication. Classes are in small groups (10 people maximum) during the whole year with a focus on oral communication.

For all our French courses in Aix-en-Provence the minimum age is 18 years, except for the closed groups where we can accept younger students.

For all our French courses on specific objectives we ask the participants to fill in a questionnaire on beforehand in order to prepare the course according to your needs and goals. This way you’ll get the best of your French courses in France.

DELF Exam Preparation (PEDELF)

This course is designed for anyone who wish to pass the DELF B1 or B2 exam. This course prepares to the format and to the specificities of the DELF exam. If you wish to improve your language level as well, it is possible to combine this course with a General French (FG) course.

  • Knowing the DALF exam modalities, B1 or B2 level (format, assessed skills, length)
  • Acquiring strategies and methodologies to be efficiently prepared to the B1 or B2 DALF
  • Preparation to the requirements of the 4 skills assessed by the DELF B1 or B2 exams: written and oral comprehension and production
  • Practice exams and learning of various strategies adapted to the targeted exam
  • Simulations of exams
  • Updating your knowledge of other skills also assessed by the DELF B1 or DELF B2 : French culture and written/oral methodology
  • The enrolment to this course does not replace the enrolment to the exam

Afternoons between 14:00 and 17:30

  • 2 week program on specific dates
  • 8 group lessons per week
  • 1 lesson = 45 minutes
  • 3 to 6 participants
  • If less than 3 participants: course will be converted into a 10 private lessons over a 2-week period
  • 6 private lessons per week during 2 weeks
  • Self-studies organized and overseen by the teacher according to your needs
  • 1 lesson = 45 minutes
  • From A2 level *
  • Preparatory file required

Our teachers have a degree in teaching French as a Foreign Language (FLE) and receive ongoing training to develop their teaching techniques. They animate alternately the course and coordinate with each other for a precise follow-up according to the objectives of the CEFR grid.

Each participant receives, on the day of their departure, a certificate indicating the duration and the level of the taken course based on the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR)

DALF Exam Preparation (PEDALF)

This individual course is designed for anyone who wish to pass the DALF C1 or C2 exam. This course prepares to the format and to the specificities of the DALF exam with additional individual work. If you wish to improve your language level as well, it is possible to combine this course with a General French (FG) or Long Term (FL) course.

  • After analyzing the students’ needs in terms of linguistics and methodology, an adapted program is created with the teacher
  • Knowing the DALF exam modalities, C1 or C2 level (format, assessed skills, length)
  • Acquiring strategies and methodologies to be efficiently prepared to the C1 or C2 DALF
  • Preparation to the requirements of the 4 skills assessed by the DALF C1 and DALF C2 exams: written and oral comprehension and production
  • Practice exams and learning of various strategies adapted to the targeted exam
  • Simulations of exams
  • Updating your knowledge of other skills also assessed by the DALF C1 and DALF C2 : French culture and written/oral methodology
  • The enrolment to this course does not replace the enrolment to the exam

Mornings and/or afternoons between 09:00 and 17:30

  • 6 private lessons per week
  • Self-studies organized and overseen by the teacher according to your needs
  • 1 lesson = 45 minutes
