La Maison Weibel is the perfect tearoom for all food enthusiasts. Weibel is first and foremost a patisserie, but here you, can not only buy the pastries to take with you, you can also enjoy the delicacies on spot.

From 07:30 to 12:30, they offer great breakfast formulas with viennoiseries, such as croissants, pains au chocolat and pains aux raisins. During your lunchtime, from 12:00 to 15:00, you can enjoy the daily special, and of course, throughout the day, you can always have a coffee with a pastry.

With its terrace overlooking the oldest market in Provence, Weibel is located in the city centre of Aix-en-Provence. It is open Monday to Sunday from 07:30 to 19:00, therefore you can enjoy these delicacies for yourself.

Café du Palais

Visit the Café du Palais like a true Aixois (an inhabitant of Aix-en-Provence). The café is located in the heart of the city at la Place des Prêcheurs. Every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday morning, there is a market in front of the café. Therefore, le café du Palais is the ideal place to have a coffee on the terrace after a stroll around the market.

While you are here learning French at the institute, you are considered a student, and therefore you may ask for a student card at the school reception. With your student card, you may get many advantages, such as a 10% discount on meals at Café du Palais.

Mana

Mana is the ideal café to meet up with friends. The café is a bit hidden away in a quieter street behind the busy Cours Mirabeau, so it is a good spot to escape the crowds.

The menu is diverse, with coffees, teas, fruit juices, sandwiches, and pastries. The portions are large, which is an ideal way to share with your friends.

Mana also offers a loyalty card for its customers; each time you buy a drink, you will get a stamp. After ten visits, when the card is full, you will get a free drink.

Book in Bar

Book in Bar is located next to Cours Mirabeau. Contrary to what the name suggests, Book in Bar is not a bar, but an international bookshop. You can buy lots of English, French and international books there.

It is also possible to have a coffee at Book in Bar with a pastry. The atmosphere there is great, the staff is very friendly, the drinks and pastries are not expensive. A lot of students go there to work and to do their homework, so if you like books and a pastry, you really must check out Book in Bar at least once.

Le Forbin

The brasserie Forbin is on the way from the school to the city centre, so it is the perfect place to have a coffee in between classes.

Le Forbin, which is open every day, is located next to the chapel Oblats and Cours Mirabeau. It is an Italian restaurant where you can also dine and enjoy background music. And do not forget to taste the tiramisu for dessert!
